About Laurie's Experience

 Laurie specializes in individual US tax compliance for those individuals with more complex situations.  In addition, she has significant experience in consulting with globally mobile individuals and their employers in areas related to risk management, global payroll, social security and tax compliance.  Her career as a CPA began in 1991 as an auditor.  Subsequently, her specialization in Global Mobility Services began in 1997 as a military dependent in Germany when she left her auditing career to join a Big-4 Firm in Frankfurt as part of their Global Mobility Services Team.  Since that time Laurie has been working with major international companies and their cross-border employees abroad and in the US from a variety of locations and firms.  Laurie has advised and worked with many individuals that have family business and personal investment matters both inside and outside the US that impact their US income tax reporting requirements, several remaining her clients for many years.  She also advises and works with many citizens of other countries that have temporary and/or long term US tax filing requirements.  Laurie has been residing in Sewanee, TN since 2007 performing services for companies and individuals in a primarily remote capacity.  Laurie and her firm are registered and licensed in Tennessee.
